Guide to pass AMC exam: April 2020

Attention to all candidates!!!

Please be aware of what you are signing up for! AMC BRIDGING COURSE/SEMINAR/ACADEMY are expensive and they are a total waste of money.

They will guide you by doing questions banks and read out the explanation words by words from the qbank. Perhaps some would provide theory class by reading slides words by words with their accent.

Some even provide you with learning resources (ie. ebooks, past recalls, stolen offline qbank). Trust me, this is a total waste of time. Especially it is for me and other victims.

Whatever you saw or read online are filtered/paid comments from respectively group. They have been earning a lot and could afford to pay others to say good about their academy!!!

I received alot of DM asking me which are the academy to avoid. Some even told me about how their personal experiences. Most negative experiences were untold because they were filtered from Facebook (Quote from admin: This group is not meant to degrade other academies or people. Kindly refrain from such comments. Everyone has an opinion and u have your right to express it. But please be respectful. Thanks).

Since the admin deleted my whole post regarding on academy, I would like to write it up and post it here as a summary. All the best.

You may choose to ignore this post and continue spending your money on useless courses then regret later. The choice is yours! Pick wisely!!!

p/s: I am just doing a favor to summarize them up and solely to prevent others from falling into these traps. If you had realized, more and more academies is being produced. Why? Because IMGs money is easy to earn. Because they had took advantages of those who are new to this and make them pay to get information, then only regret because paid so much for some useless courses. I gain no benefit from any this. So please do not fall for the same trap all over again. Thanks.

Harassing others to join their academy!

Shahriar ahmed sujoy tried hard to advertise his academy in every single groups with every possible way. He had paid alot of followers to actively "DM" other candidates and promote his academy.

The owner quickly "REQUEST TO REPORT THIS PERSON AS FAKE ID WITH HATEFUL SPEECH" with the help of his "SUPPORTERS"

**you can search the facebook group for "shahriar" and you will realized the same person to spam whole lot of comments in supporting the academy. there are many paid supporters out there so be careful of whatever comments you see from the group, good comments will not get deleted**

This is the utmost fake academy that you should avoid. Using fake account to conduct academy. On top of that, took advantage of current COVID-19 pandemic to gain donations (unsure where the donated money went) Had lots of paid supporters as well.

BEST donation when people don't know about it. Don't know where the money went :)

Ban others from giving negative review. What's the intention? If your course is good, you should not be afraid of that

This doctor is inspired by other academy. Watching how the others earn, she first provide free trial for course. Gain some fame. Then charge others for USD 400 for her course. Nicely done.

Perfect mastermind with good marketing skill. First bait you for dropping email by providing "AMC MCQ Blueprint". Then send to your email to like their page and join their group. Then enrol and pay for the so called "AMC MCQ Blueprint" -- textbooks and amc past recalls.

This one is the worst scamming academy. Please do take note I use the word SCAM here. This is a rather new academy that was created recently (inspired to other successful academies). You can't find any identity of the owner or whatsoever. Goodluck with your money once you paid for this.

This is just another candidate who is trying to be helpful and hoping to gain something in return. He created Evergrow Medicine Page and trust me, in future it will be either a new form of academy or a portal to sell study material. It is just a matter of time.

Owner of group "Purangatdeep Singh" say "I DO NOT OWN EVERGROW MEDICINE" & that people is trying to deceive him and spoil his reputation

The exact same name. what an coincidence? if Purangatdeep Singh is proved innocent. why even bother to go behind the bush and hide own identity? Why use Michael Smith to create a facebook group if it was meant to help others without any other further intention? Or is it a new marketing strategy for future development? Well we shall see. Just follow my blog, I will update you all.

A candidate from Evergrow Medicine sent me this photo telling me that the Real Admin behind Evergrow Medicine is the one over the left name: Gurmel Singh (Michael Smith)
The one over the right is Purangatdeep Singh. Coincidence? Well, it is up to you to judge.

This is another example of a desperate relatively NEW ACADEMY who try hard to spam hoping that people would fall for the trap.

Repeatedly spam the same post over and over and over and over again. This is Dr Seema's reply...

If your course is good, eventually people will promote for you. You don't have to spam the post and flood the whole group. Something is fishy when she mentioned not everyone can afford expensive courses as if she is offering free courses.

Dr Seema SP is obviously the owner of this IMG Centre. But from the reply, she mentioned "I keep getting a huge number of questions and doubts about AMC, AHPRA, RACGP, PESCI, pathways,, jobs, etc., but I’m not able to answer all due to work and commitments." If she is genuine in wanting to help out others, she would have done so rather than collecting fees and busy "promoting" her academy. What an irony.

Then if you did not do anything wrong, why bother deleting your post? SOMETHING IS SERIOUSLY WRONG WITH ALL THESE ACADEMIES. When you expose them, they will get mad, rage and start deleting stuff to wipe out the evidence. Just have a look at how much effort they put in promoting. My notifications is full of these SPAM.

And when she rage, she started to call for help forcing her students to defend her. (She may not force them to comment but why tag your students???) This is just epic!
